Glossop Market Hall Mural Drop-in

The drop-in session will encourage input from you, our locals on what you'd like to see depicted in the mural and the areas of local life you'd like to be celebrated. We want to speak to you about the plans for the mural, show Evie's sketches and inspirations, show you the location of the mural, and get feedback to help Evie develop something that showcases Glorious Glossop from the people that know it best!
The mural is made possible through Evie winning the Derbyshire Makes Grant.
Evie O'Connor is one of the regions most exciting artists. She develops paintings about society, class and identity. She has been awarded with numerous residencies, in 2021 with OOF Gallery, London. Previously, Evie held a residency with Sarabande: The Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation, London in 2020 and Spare Room, Merseyside in 2018. We are thrilled to have such an exciting artist producing original work at Glossop Market Hall!
